BEHIND THE LENS

 

Hi there! I'm Jessica and I am 25 years young. I am a lover of Jesus, first and foremost, and the gifts He has equipped me with. I surely can't do it without Him. All this glory is for Him.

 

I'm not picky! There's a lot I love about life, but some of my favorites are being outside, taking lots of pictures, being active, playing tennis, loving others, worshiping, laughing, and pulling pranks of course (yes I am a prankster)... I like to keep life, joy-filled!

 

Currently, I reside in Alamo, MI with my amazing hubby! I recently got engaged and married on September 7th, 2018, so I know all about how a bride feels on her wedding day, and it has made me even more passionate about wedding days! It also helps me relate to you, as the bride more, and I strive to create a calm, yet professional atmosphere while snapping pics of all the memories along the way. It is my job and goal to help you enjoy your wedding day, and I mean really enjoy it! 

 

Being very attached to the area, I decided to go to school nearby, at Western Michigan University, while majoring in Interior Design. I am a very design oriented person, and that's how I was created. Photography is something that I have had a passion for since I was young and I guess all of the practice, and my "creative eye" has proved itself in my work. I truly love photographing weddings, interiors, families, and all the clients + friends that I get the pleasure of working with.  

 

I love the challenge (especially in wedding photography) of always being attentive and quick on my feet to get the shots that happen so fast, or the ones that sometimes get overlooked. The shots that are not posed, but are simple moments that make up life.  As a person who doesn't get stressed out easily, my goal is to have fun, make the experience fun and relaxed for you, and always deliver my best for you in an organized way that showcases some of the most sweet + memorable photographs that you will be sure to love!
